Dialogue and local engagement

Regular meetings with residents

We maintain an open dialogue and organize periodic consultations with local community. Constant contact with residents, businessmen, fishermen and other sea users is of great importance to us.

Workshops with local administration

We organize periodic workshops to spread knowledge, improve skills and exchange experience with representatives of administration and institutions directly involved in the development of offshore wind farms in Poland.

Local events

We actively participate in the life of the local community. Participation in important events for it allows us to dialogue with residents, tourists, local organizations and entrepreneurs.

Cooperation with local institutions

We work with institutions that influence the development of our projects and support us in assessing the environmental impact of our offshore wind farm projects.

Meetings with residents and local administration are part of our Flagship Program "Promotion and Information Center".

Collaboration with local entrepreneurs

We maximize the involvement of local companies. We connect Polish entrepreneurs with international partners with know-how in offshore wind industry. We support creation of the Polish supply chain and increase the opportunity for domestic suppliers to join investment projects around the world. Our investments also represent new growth opportunities for local companies in the tourism and catering industries. We are taking these initiatives as part of our Flagship Program "Contractual Commitment Package".

Education and local initiatives

Cooperation with universities

We are committed to educate future personnel for offshore wind energy. As of 2019, we are cooperating with the Faculty of Ocean Engineering and Shipbuilding at the Gdansk University of Technology, and as of 2022 with the Pomeranian Center of Competence for Offshore Renewable Energy, established by the local government and Rumia Invest Park.

"We started cooperating on Bałtyk projects in 2013. Participation in these projects allowed us to reach another level of professionalism in offshore services."

Lucjan Gajewski, Vice President of the Board of MEWO S.A.

"We became involved in the Bałtyk 2 and 3 offshore wind farms in 2022. This is a promising industry. Foreign entities are also interested in our services."

Dariusz Wojciech Czajka, CEO of Squadron Sp.z o.o.

"Developing a method for crossing the shoreline in 2021 required our engineers to develop new methods of operation. We look forward to further opportunities to collaborate on offshore wind farms."

Jacek Janicki, owner at Janicki

"In 2022, we built the Fairplay-37 multipurpose tug in Poland. We used it in the survey campaign for the Bałtyk 1 offshore wind farm and intend to use it in future projects."

Arkadiusz Ryż, Offshore Wind Project Manager, Fairplay Towage

"Through our involvement in Bałtyk projects, we have gained valuable competence and experience. This is a very promising industry for us."

Mateusz Samulak, CEO of PROJMORS

"In 2022, we developed the Front-END Engineering Design (FEED) for the Bałtyk 2 and 3 task. Our experience and the professional approach of our Equinor and Polenergia colleagues allowed us to meet high work standards and further develop the contract."

Tomasz Walczak, Deputy Director of the Design Department at ENPROM
