Marine Operations

Planning, procurement and transport of the rock, and execution of the following activities, which are scheduled across multiple campaigns between 2026 and 2027 as part of the rock installation scope:

• Installation of single-layer scour protection
• Subsea rock placement prior to the foundation installation (for both WTG and OSS)
• Subsea rock placement for the export cables and inter-array cables
• Subsea rock placement for the stabilisation of IAC CPS’s

The works will be executed in several campaigns, involving different rock gradings.

Pre-installation campaign – Prior to foundation installation

• WTG’s:
  A pre-lay rock installation will be carried out to create a stable rock layer (rock carpet) on the seabed. This layer is designed to prevent the development of scour holes around the monopile foundations. The monopiles will be driven through the rock layer.
• Offshore Substations (OSS):
  A similar rock carpet will be installed at the OSS locations to provide seabed stabilisation.

Post-lay campaign – After cable installation

• Following the installation of subsea cables between WTGs and from the OSS to shore, post-lay rock placement will be required to ensure protection and stabilisation.
• While cables are generally buried in the seabed, additional rock berms will be installed in areas where burial is not possible or where required burial depth is not met.

The company is to provide a charter of a Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV) operated by a certified crew, tentative starting April 2026. The working port will be at  the O&M base located in Łeba, Poland.
