Bałtyk 1 opens to suppliers. Join a strategic offshore project! Sign up today!
The Supplier Day is an opportunity for domestic companies to become part of supply chain for the Bałtyk 1 project. The event is aimed at companies with experience in the offshore wind energy sector as well as enterprises from other industries that have the relevant competencies, products or services that can support the investment at various stages.
The scope of cooperation will include a broad range of procurement packages, similar to those implemented for the Bałtyk 2 and Bałtyk 3 projects. This includes among others demand for transport and installation services, supply of electrical components, construction works, maintenance services, monitoring and technical inspection systems, as well as support in the areas of HSE, logistics and IT. In additional to presenting the Bałtyk 1 project and reviewing procurement packages, Equinor and Polenergia will showcase best practices in establishing cooperation and share examples of Polish companies that have joined the supply chain for the ongoing Bałtyk 2 and Bałtyk 3 projects.
Participation in the event is free of charge. Registration is required via form available at the link. Registration is open until September 9.

About Bałtyk 1 project:
Bałtyk 1 is the largest and most advanced project of the second phase of offshore wind development in Poland. Its capacity is expected to reach up to 1560 MW, which will enable the supply of green energy to as many as 2 million households. Baltic 1 holds permits for the construction of artificial islands, structures, and facilities in Polish maritime areas, a legally binding environmental decision, and a grid connection agreement with the transmission system operator PSE. Equinor and Polenergia have also submitted an application to the Energy Regulatory Office for prequalification to participate in Poland’s first offshore auction, thus initiating the project’s qualification process for the December auction. The companies aim to maximize the involvement of domestic firms in the implementation of the project, planning to engage local enterprises up to a level of 45%.
