Equinor and Polenergia will continue their dialogue with local residents and invite them to get in touch.
Equinor and Polenergia, due to the upcoming completion of the operations and maintenance base in Łeba, have decided to discontinue the activities of the Baltic Offshore Wind Farms Information Center. However, they still invite continued dialogue during information meetings or via email and telephone contact.
The Center in Łeba, which was the first and only place in Poland dedicated to information and education about offshore wind energy, will be closed at the end of March 2026. We would like to thank all the people with whom we had the opportunity to talk about the Bałtyk projects and, more broadly, about the energy transition and how it may influence the development of the Pomeranian region.
Since June 2023, the centre has enabled residents and visitors to:
- getting to know the Bałtyk 1, 2 and 3 projects,
- participation in information meetings,
- participation in educational events for children and young people,
- getting acquainted with information brochures, a mock-up of wind farms and multimedia presentations.
We would like to emphasize that although the on-site information point is being closed, Equinor and Polenergia will remain available to residents and stakeholders who wish to contact us with questions or topics related to the Bałtyk projects. From the second half of 2026, the possibility of contact will be further strengthened with the opening of the new operations and maintenance base in Łeba.
