Łeba at the center of offshore wind energy: a meeting on the service base
On 9 December this year, Equinor and Polenergia invite the inhabitants of the Pomeranian region to an information meeting, during which progress in the implementation of the Baltic Sea projects and in the construction of the operational and service base for the Bałtyk 2 and 3 offshore wind farms will be discussed. The event will be an opportunity to obtain detailed information on the schedule for the implementation of the investment and its impact on the development of the local economy.
Equinor and Polenergia invite the local community to another quarterly information meeting. Its topic will be the operational and service base for servicing the Bałtyk 2 and 3 offshore wind farms under construction in Łeba. The investors will present the current status of work and the further schedule for the construction of the service base, and will also talk about its role in the daily maintenance of wind farms, as well as how it can affect the development of the local labor market. The meeting will be an opportunity to learn about the latest progress in the implementation of projects.
The meeting will take place on Tuesday, December 9, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Baltic Sea Offshore Wind Farm Information Center, at 88 Kościuszki Street in Łeba.
The operational and service base for offshore wind farms Bałtyk is a strategic investment that strengthens the position of Łeba as an important center of offshore wind energy in Poland. The new infrastructure, which is being built on the revitalized port area, will include modern office space, a remote control and control center for offshore wind farms, as well as a spare parts warehouse and a quay for mooring vessels. The facility is planned to be commissioned in mid-2026, and it will employ several dozen specialists.
Constant dialogue with the local community is one of the priorities of investors implementing the construction of offshore wind farms in the Baltic Sea. Regular information meetings are an opportunity to talk, ask questions and clarify any doubts. Thanks to them, the residents of Łeba can keep track of the progress of the works and find out what will soon happen on the construction site.
We encourage you to participate in the next meeting. No prior registration is required.
