Supply chain in Bałtyk 2 and Bałtyk 3 an opportunity for Polish entrepreneurs   

The deadline for completing registration for the Supplier Day for cooperation in the field of foundations and transitional elements of offshore wind turbines on the Bałtyk 2 and Bałtyk 3 offshore wind farm projects is approaching.  

The event will take place on November 25, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the Gdańsk Entrepreneurship Incubator STARTER, 3b Lęborska Street, and participation in it is an opportunity for Polish companies interested in providing products and services for the offshore wind sector.  

If your company would like to cooperate on projects developed jointly by Equinor and Polenergia, book a time and come to the meeting for potential suppliers and contractors.

During the thematic sessions, experts from Sif Group, Smulders, and Heerema will talk individually with suppliers about specific purchasing packages: 

• Steel structures (mainly welding and assembly) of ladders, railings, and platforms, 

• Surface protection (paint, metallization, and other coatings), 

• Electrical components, e.g. lighting, switches, panels, cable covers, delivery and installation, 

• Accompanying and maintenance services (e.g. non-destructive testing (NDT) and quality control), 

• Installation and connection of transition pieces, 

• Transport and installation of monopiles, 

• Noise monitoring and reduction.
